<dcterms:title><![CDATA[Tenerife Lace Tray Doily]]></dcterms:title>
<dcterms:description><![CDATA[A doily created using the Tenerife lace technique, a type of needle lace similar to Spanish Sol and Nanduti lace. The doily has similar features to a Nanduti lace technique, but appears to be closer in style to Tenerife. The doily is made up of a solid fabric center that is bisected with a lace cross, creating four solid fabric wedge shapes. Each wedge has a lace leaf pattern on it. The border is made up of a series of wheel motifs that were likely created separately and then stitched together. Ten of these wheels include a more solid center, creating a floral effect when pieced together with the rest of the wheels. ]]></dcterms:description>
