Knitted wool afghan or coverlet made by Emeline Clark Cushman in 1865 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The blanket is constructed of seventeen strips joined by crocheted variegated yarn with Emeline's husband's initials "C.M.C." (Charles M. Cushman) crosstitched at the center. The blanket has fringe on two sides.
