Owned and used by Hilda Hofseth Olson's paternal grandmother, Karen Tostendotter Haglsveen Hofseth (1840-1911). Karen &amp;amp; Hans G. Hofseth (1840-1921) raised six sons. They were: 1. Charles Theodore Hofseth (1869-1933), (Hilda's father) m. Janna Regina 'Rellie' Eddy, 2. Julius Hofseth (1872-1909), 3. Magnus Hofseth (1875-1941) m. Ada Ellsworth, 4. Hjelmar Elmer Peter Hofseth (ca. 1878- ), 5. Anton Hofseth (1879- ), 6. John C. Hofseth (1882-1891). The family originally lived in Akan Township and later moved to the village of Excelsior.</text>
