<dcterms:description><![CDATA[Beanie Style hat with squared top corners and a cable knit rim. There are both natural and artificial fibers making up the yard and the hat was hand knit. It is a deep pink color and soft to the touch. The hats were made from a public accessed ,knitting pattern and circulated before the Women's March for participants to show solidarity for a variety of causes. The focus of the protest was to communicate with the incoming Trump Administration that women would actively advocate for equality, diversity and autonomy regarding health, pay and safety for women and marginalized orientations and races. This was accomplished by one of the largest nation wide peaceful protest in the history of the USA. The cornered tips of the hat were designed to vaguely represent cat ears to invoke the innuendo of "pussy." The hats were used again during the 2018 march advocating the same goals and the original march.]]></dcterms:description>
