The bottom-left corner of the handkerchief features a embroidered lace creating the shape of two rectangles, one vertical and one horizontal. The squares have been colored two different shades of blue. The blue does not appear on the verso, indicating that it was not dyed. There are two blue french knots embroidered near the rectangles, and the border includes some simple embroidered lace eyelets.
