CLARKSFORK, Idaho, Jan. 21.‚ÄîA consignment of yarn issued to the Red Cross here was found to contain ground glass. The glass was not detected until the hands of Miss Emma Wilson, a teacher, who was knitting a sweater for the soldiers, became irritated. Supposing it was due to the coarse texture of tile wool she kept at work until she saw a silver of glass fall from the yarn. An investigation was made and the whole consignment was found to contain minute particles of glass. The wool, together with un- finished garments, have been collected to be returned to Sandpoint headquarters.
