<dcterms:description><![CDATA[Must Rush Work For Belgians: Refugee Work Given First Thought-Workers Are Needed At Once.; Must Rush Work For Belgians: Refugee Work Given First Thought-Workers Are Needed At Once. Red Cross headquarters has received instructions to give priority over all other work to the Belgian refugee garments that are on hand, so that the work may be completed at the earliest possible date. Mrs. Harry Kemp stated Thursday morning that there are yet to be made 300 women's petticoats, 420 chemises, 800 layettes and a member of 6-year-old dresses and boys' suits. This work must all be done and ready for shipment by January 15. All other work has been put aside in an effort to get this work finished in time, and headquarters is appealing to all who have a day or part of a day to give to come at once to the workrooms and sew. Auxiliaries are taking garments out and also knitting, but alarm is felt that the work will not be completed in time, as the workers seem to have lost their enthusiasm to a great extent. More help is needed in all lines of the Red Cross work.]]></dcterms:description>
