Wilder-Bryan is active in political and civic efforts. Her son, Lawrence Bryan IV, was murdered in 2015, which inspired her to create LB4 &amp; After, an organization that helps empower and uplift young people in Savannah. On January 21, 2017, millions of people worldwide took part in marches to protest the inauguration of Donald Trump as the President of the United States. The first protest, which took place in Washington, D.C., was known as the Women's March on Washington and was intended as a response to anti-woman rhetoric and beliefs that were espoused during Trump's campaign. While women's and reproductive rights were at the forefront of marchers' concerns, many also protested the racist, anti-immigrant, anti-science, and other controversial sentiments expressed by the incoming Trump administration. In this interview, Linda Wilder-Bryan talks about her family and her childhood in Savannah. She discusses her son's murder, which inspired her to found LB4 &amp; After, an organization that helps empower and uplift young people in Savannah. Wilder-Bryan discusses serving as team captain for a busload of Savannah women who attended the Women's March on Washington, and she describes her powerfully positive experience at the march. She talks about the signs that were painted for marchers from Savannah by local artist Panhandle Slim. She describes having the women on her bus write personal statements to themselves about their experiences marching so they can revisit them on the anniversary of the march, and she talks about an event held in Savannah shortly after the march where marchers described their experiences to a gathered crowd.
