Peter Peroe (sometimes spelled Peros) married Emilie Elizabeth Steingruber at Hebron, N. D., in 1893 (she was 14 years younger). Established his own bakery, which was destroyed in a large fire, and a Fruits and Confectionery business at 2603 Montana Avenue. President of the Billings Opera house in 1890s. He is knitting in this photo. Yellowstone County, Montana, in the world war, 1917-1918-1919 identifies him as 'Champion masculine Red Cross knitter.'
