United States Army issue plastic helmet liner is a dark brown-olive drab with blotches of yellowish and reddish paint on the exterior. It has a knit cotton strap with a plastic friction buckle and an adjustable framework of straps to fit the skull, made of stiff cardboard. Manufacturer unknown, circa 1950.
