World War I Seaforth Highlander's Uniform Cap of John F. Hardesty. Navy wool knit cap has a red, yellow and navy checked band around bottom and a red toorie or pom-pom on the top. The band is lined with black ribbon which trails in two strands off the back. A silver metal hat pin features the head of a deer with large antlers and a banner underneath with the motto "CUIDICH N RIGH"
