Description

Constructed of cloth over a wire armature body, the doll features a composition head with painted features and a white mohair wig. She wears a blue calico skirt and purple calico blouse, blue and white gingham apron, and a green knit shawl. She carries a basket filled with fruit on her arm, and the bottom of the basket reads '... IN MEXICO." Lenski's earliest documentation of this doll names her "Fruit-seller Mimi."
