Description
View of Ezra Meeker, an oxen team, and a covered wagon beside the Loup River in probably Nance County or Platte County, Nebraska. The elderly man wears suspenders, a striped knit shirt, trousers, boots, and a wide brimmed hat, and he holds a wooden yoke. Oxen are beside a wagon with a canvas cover. Letters and names are carved into the wooden wagon base and signs on the wagon read: "...You may guess..." and "Ezra Meeker." Trees are nearby.
