Description

Title supplied by cataloger.
From "Hingham Then And Now" Facebook page (author unknown) This West Hingham commercial building - near what was once "Hobart's Bridge" - has had several identities. For many years it was McNeils Grocers, having previously housed the Baptists upstairs, before their church was built. Then it became Greenfields store and the Old Colony Knitting Mills - as pictured here in "This Is America" (1942). Now it is home to Puopolo's Candies and small offices. The final picture shows a knitter at work at Greenfields in 1941.
