Photograph caption dated March 30, 1959 reads, "Family worshippers. Churches tomorrow will celebrate the day annually set aside to commemorate Christ's resurrection. Typical of the close-knit family circle which is the backbone of Valley community life is this one, Mr. and Mrs. Chester Lyons with Stephen and Margaret, who make their home in Northridge. Many new churches--prayers in stone--have been completed in the Valley during the year past, indicating a growing tendency of families to attend and worship in the church of their choice.
