The original catalog description provided by the Ford Motor Company reads as follows: a. Pheasants cross a wooded field - field full of pheasants - man throws feed to pheasants - pheasants feeding. [1917] b. Red Cross building with signs, ‘Newberry House’ and ‘American Red Cross Teaching Center’ - staff posing on front steps of building - workers at desks - nurse instructing a class - workers in ward attending patients - instructing the blind in hand crafts, basket making, caning, weaving. [1917] c. Man in rowboat is passed by the steamer ‘Neptune,’ of The Interlake Steamship Co. - he throws line aboard steamer, line is made fast and pulls the rowboat - bucket is lowered to man in rowboat who fills it and bucket is raised up - line is played out and steamer passes - shoreline and city skyline - (unrelated footage: interior workings of watch). [1918] d. Two women seated at desk using calculating machines, man adjusts them - elderly woman knitting - picks up and kisses photograph, wipes tears from her eyes. [1918]
