The original catalog description provided by the Ford Motor Company reads as follows: Animated cartoon of Hobo and dog asleep under pier. “The detective -- who hasn’t caught anything but ‘lost sleep’ for a dog’s age. The pup --who has to catch something even if it’s a cold -- to keep up their reputation.” Dog waking up, stretching. “Gee -- but I’m hungry!” Dog washing face in water, catching fish with his tail - hobo dreaming of fish dinner - the two struggling for fish, which escapes - hobo and dog sitting on park bench. “Now if we only had some cheese -- we could have cheese and crackers -- if we only had some crackers.” Old woman knitting on park bench, cat playing with yarn. “You go chase the old maid’s cat -- I’ll rescue it and get a reward -- then we eat!! How’s that?” Dog chasing cat up tree - hobo spanking dog - woman kissing cat. “Oh, thank you sir.” “Thank you very, very much.” Hobo returning to bench. “Can you beat it? -- You can’t eat thanks?” “All I git is ‘thanks’ -- chase her old cat again!” “Is the spanking part of the act absolutely necessary?” Dog chasing cat - hobo on bench nonchalantly waiting. “Young man, I’ll give you a quarter if you’ll chase this hound dog away!” Hobo chasing dog. “Boy!
