Description

Brown and white wool knit bag, with woven, checkered strap; bag reads "CHICHICASTE-NANGO" near top, with the word divided by the right side seam and "GUATEMALA" on the bottom of both sides; between and above these words are stripes of repeating double headed eagles and burros/horses.
Donated by C. Frances Bristol, 2006; Purchased by C. Frances Bristol at the market at Chichicastenango, Guatemala in 1960.
