Glass negative showing a group of sailors gathered on the deck of a ship during the Centennial celebrations. A man standing on the left holds a dog and there is a goat in the center of the group. A baby bear rests on the deck in the foreground with its head in a sailor's lap. The sailors all wear uniforms with knitted caps. The Centennial Anniversary of the framing and creation of the Constitution was held on September 16-18, 1887 in Philadelphia. Organized by representatives from the various states and territories, the festivities included a military display, orations and concerts, and an industrial parade.; Forms part of Marriott C.
