Description
Bobbin lace sampler made by a beginner lacemaker, on the Torchon Lace Co.'s lace pillow, (2016.0048.11) with ecru cotton thread. Alternating sections of half stitch, linen stitch and torchon ground. When taken off the pattern, the lace is longer and narrower due to the springy nature of the cotton thread, which was made for crochet.
