Interlaced cotton band with fringed tassels at each end. A series of bead and deer hoof tip or animal claw tassels along one side of the band. There may be one or two metal beads. Dr. Newton says that these were obtained from Nindo Joaquim, a 40 y/o male. The interlaced band was made by Bou, a 58 y/o male, the knit band was made by Doca Amgiokwa, a 38 y/o female, who also put the pendants on both a + b. Used by Nindo but seller comments that it has been well stored and that is why it looks "novinho" .The term for ankle band is me?techi. The band is 2z cotton, a is braided, with ends bound to form tassels. B is knit with tassels attached . The pendants along the band are glass beads, antique glass beads and deer hoof/nails. The bead string is 2z tucum/caroa, the tie binding is 2z cotton. Price paid: 5 crn.
