A floor to ceiling bookcase filled with leather-bounded books with two drawers at the bottom is at the right. A small bookcase with closed sliding cloth curtains is placed between the bookcase and chair. On the small bookcase are pictures and a urn. A sheathed sword is leaning on the large bookcase in front of the small bookcase. A white crocheted throw is on the back of the chair. A lamp is behind the chair. Another chair without arms is placed in the alcove to the right of the wooden shutters. 4 photos are hung on the walls.
