Description

White crocheted/knitted tablecloth. Round, lace and open work design, fringe around edge. A handwritten note accompanying this artifact reads: "#36 / Washed & mended shawl (or tablecloth) hand knitted. Took over 10 hours to repair, severe damage except one area that had been drawn together by someone before. This is a very valuable article & should never be hung on a chair or improperly handled as before. Can be displayed in a case with a colored paper under center medalion [sic]. A great piece of hand work believe [sic] done by Mrs. Coors."
