Because Mr. and Mrs. Orson S. Whitney wed on February 29, 1872 they are celebrating their sixteenth wedding anniversary even though they have been married for sixty-four years. The 86-year-old and his 80-year-old wife are celebrating at the home of their daughter Mrs. Gertrude Goodcell of 2919 Asbury Street with their two other children, five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
