Wall hanging (pattern from Needlecraft Magazine) with image of Pocahontas in the center (multi-color): around Pocahontas (in brown thread) appear images of American Indians, trees, ship, and log cabins
wall hanging has fringe at bottom and black hanging thread with 2 tassels at top attached to thin wood dowel. Fragile wood dowel was re-inforced with two knitting needles. One white with round black head, opposite end was a clear color kneedle, round head. This last one has broken with pieces missing.*Hand embroidered front bottom, various colors of floss: "Pocahontas" *Tag sewn to back notes "Handmade by Mary Stanley 1869-1955"
