Two letters dated December 22, 1943, one from Miriam Reeves to Miyuki "Kay" Kida, the other from George Reeves to the Kida family. The letter from Miriam Reeves describes her new hobby of knitting. Mentions that she had just finished knitting a suit for a Japanese American girl who was an evacuee from Los Angeles but had moved to Princeton, New Jersey. The letter from George Reeves asks about the farming in Eastern Oregon. General news of himself and his wife, as well as of friends and acquaintances. Writes that he hopes the Kida family will be let home soon. Envelope addressed to George M Kida in Nyssa, Oregon.
