Govt) FPO San Francisco Wednesday 14 Feb. 8:45 pm Darling, Another evening pay line over and I'm not even tired - last night I went to bed at 8:30 and went to sleep immediately. …pg. 16 - closeup of Wendy in carriage, head raised, smiling with mouth and eyes. Pg. 17: another closeup in carriage (with kewpie doll) exhibiting a finely shaped head. Pg. 18: “Ready for the beach” - in carriage on her back, sunbonnetted; and a very cute picture of W. sitting in armchair in front of books, dressed up in shoes, dress and sweater and wearing a bow. Pg. 19: In [M?s.?] (Gladys J's mother)'s lap, awfully cunning with arms outstretched and smiling; with ? and daughter, being fed by the latter. Pg. 20 - Paula and Keeo, Marge and Pat. Pg. 21 - left blank for an exterior of our house - I don't have any. Please? ‘ Pgs. 22-25 - Interiors. I'm awfully glad to have these. The living room looks cheery, the kitchen tidy, the bedroom lonely. I like being able to turn to a picture of the desk where you write me and the chair in which you sit to read. Pg. 26 - a very charming picture of Wendy sitting on the floor on a pad, leaning forward slightly and smiling, a patch of sunlight on the top of her head. Pg. 27 - outdoors on a quilted pad (on a stone bench beside the house, dressed for cool weather in knitted things and looking solemn, you in your plaid dress holding her on your lap on the same bench. Pg. 28 - in high chair, looking almost as big as life. Pg. 29 - in arm chair again, feet up in the air (I have a special [pg 2] feeling about each of all these pictures). Pg. 30 - A lovely picture of you, dressed in - gosh, I don't know how to describe it. Parka hood winter suit; Wendy wearing same suit in carriage and chewing on her teething rings. Pg. 31 - one of the two small photographs which I'm mounting in the book. The other, the first you sent me, will accompany it - when the big one arrives to take the place of several small ones in the left half of my big folder. The one already in is looking down and slightly to observer's right, body facing camera. The other three are in my little triptych. Pgs. 32-33 - Two chockfull pages of little prints: Wendy by herself, with you and with Doug. They make such an interesting two pages by way of variety that I don't need the bigger prints and will return them to you along with other duplicates or near-duplicates. There you have it - a source of immense satisfaction to me. Keep on sending them, honey, once a month or so (I realize that we have to make the film count) and continue to date Wendy's age on them. - They’re always twice as interesting to get when you write something on the back. Now I shall look thru the snapshots I'm returning once more and get them ready for mailing you tomorrow. I love you, darling Warren
