A Note from the Contributor

Maria C. Vallejo: Another beautiful piece of crochet that has become part of my collection of the needle arts. Crochet is an easy to learn and very satisfying art form to the soul. This doily, a labor-intensive piece is of the variety known as Irish crochet. Irish crochet is done with fine needles and thread. There is a third dimension added to the flowers when the petals of the flowers are crocheted, detached, and float away from the flat piece of crochet
