Description

Spun yarns from staple-whether cotton, wool, any natural or man-made fiber-are bulky and fuzzy compared with continuous-filament yarn, which is smooth. Sweaters, suits and the like are made from spun yarns, which are made from staple. Ladies' full length hosiery, lingerie fabrics, and the like are knitted and woven from continuous-filament yarn.
