Description

On activities on the Mexican border at Brownsville, Tex. The company stands at attention beside trucks and motorcycles. Shows the mechanized knit on the march. Wire is loaded on trucks. The vehicles arrive at a bivouac area. Trucks are unloaded. A field telegraph set is erected. Wire is spliced. Holes for telegraph poles are dug. Wire is unreeled from trucks and attached to the poles. Guy wires are stretched to the poles. The line is inspected. Wire is detached from poles and reeled in.
