Description

Cara Thomas was born on January 7, 1907. In this interview, she gives some recollections of her life in Toledo, where she worked as an executive secretary for Owens-Illinois for 25 years, retiring in 1972. She also talks about her father's decision to move to Toledo, making toast as a child, home remedies for colds, and knitting mittens and scarves for WWI soldiers. Miss Thomas died on December 25, 1978 in Toledo.
