Elk Red Cross Active.; Elk Red Cross Active. Elk, Wash., Jan. 25.—The Dry Creek Red Cross auxiliary held a basket social and program which netted $54, which will be used to purchase material. A special effort was put forth by the members to secure more workers, and the result was a large shipment of work, consisting of 90 pieces of hospital equipment, 17 knitted garments, one patchwork spread and two knitted mops, which were shipped to Spokane today.
