Elect Red Cross Officers: Adams County Chapter Hears Report On Year's Work.; Elect Red Cross Officers: Adams County Chapter Hears Report On Year's Work. Ritzville, Wash., Oct. 16.—The annual election of officers for the Adams county chapter of the Red Cross was held yesterday with the following result: Chairman, Mrs. D. A. Hewitt, reelected; vice chairman, Mrs. J. M. Koch; secretary, Mrs. J. F. Lansing, reelected; treasurer Miss Carrie Schragg. The three new members of the executive board are Mrs. Behringer, Miss Lydia Bauer and Mrs. Charles Ulm. The chairman, Mrs. Hewitt, reported the following as the work done by the county chapter in the year: Muslin bandages made, 3922; gauze bandages, 12,375; hospital garments, 6270; knitted garments, 2000; kit bags, 550. Aside from these, a full quota of refugee garments has been made and several tons of wearing apparel shipped to the headquarters for the overseas sufferers.
