Armando Payan describes his familyÔøΩs migration from Mexico to Los Angeles to Denver. He shares about growing up in a majority Slavic community as a Mexican American. He recalls the close-knit communities that comprised Globeville-Elyria/Swansea. As an activist and supporter of Garden Place Elementary School, he shares ways that he hopes to make his community better.
