Description

The photograph shows a group of young men, some wearing Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) uniforms consisting of dark jackets and trousers or jeans. A few men are wearing civilian clothes including a two color, knit cardigan sweater and a leather jacket. One man is wearing a western or cowboy style hat, while another wears a brimmed fedora hat. The are standing in front of a large truck with a canvas covering a domed truck bed. Behind the truck is a sign for Cole Trading Co., fresh meats, groceries, hardware, fishing tackle. There is another sign which reads Fishing Tackle and one which says Standard Service. There is also a wide street and an automobile. The town may be West Yellowstone, Montana.
