Description

Nine fashionable winter hats are displayed in rows, numbered 7 to15. in individual square or oval pictures surrounded by garlands of roses, leaves, and holly. Each woman is shown in a head and shoulders view. Picture no.7 shows a woman looking right, with a flat hat of white fur, with a curled up mink, complete with head and tail, as the crown of the hat. The hat has a brim trimmed with short speckled fur. The woman is wearing a small round earrings, a white high necked blouse, and a ruffled boa. Picture no.8 shows a mink edged flat hat with feathers trimming the crown. The woman again looks right, and wears a white high necked blouse, with a white fluffy boa. Picture no. 9 shows a woman looking towards the viewer with a slight smile. She wears a fur edged flat hat, trimmed with white ribbons, with a striped lining, and beads on the crown. She wears a white blouse trimmed with white and black ruffles. Picture 10's woman also faces front and wears a hat of two types of fur, dark and light. Her blouse is high necked and white and she wears a dark jacket and a fluffy boa. Picture 11 is the center of the arrangement. She wears a white hat with a wide brim, trimmed with fur on the crown, and with veiling hanging at the back. She wears a low necked dark dress with a white flower on one side, and she looks down. Picture 12 is of a woman wearing a hat created of swaths of mink, with a tail hanging down at the back. She wears small earrings, a white blouse with a high neck, and a knitted wrap with ribbon bows. Picture 13 is of a woman with a high crowned, tilted fur hat, edged with white fur, trimmed with white plumes, and white rosettes under the tilted side of the brim. She wears a black fur wrap or coat with a turned up collar. No. 14 has a hat of mink worn tilted forward and trimmed with white egret plumes at the crown and white veiling at the back. She wears a high necked white blouse and a fluffy boa. Picture 15 shows a woman looking left wearing a very imposing hat with a square brim with a corner facing forward. The high sides of the suare are trimmed with mink, and a number of mink tails hang at the back. The center of the crown is white. She wears a coat with a high light fur collar and a black bow.
