Woman's St. Paul Winter Carnival ensemble consisting of: .A) coat of nubby red wool with wide blue wool collar, sleeves & patch pockets trimmed with blue wool, reversible blue/red belt, 'THE/NORTHWESTERN /LINE' applique at right, matching buttons, .B) matching red wool knit tam with blue ball on top; .C) thigh height (est.) knit socks of blue wool with red band at calf, white foot; worn by donor's mother, Clara Aufenast Richter (clerk for St. Paul, Mpls & Omaha railway), St. Paul, MN, 1916-1917.
