Laura Bridgman Artifacts: 7. Unfinished knitted lace on Laura HBridgman's original needles (hatpins). Date unknown. 8. Needle and thimble case, gold thimble inscribed, "To Laura Bridgman- J. Banvard, April 27, 1855." Made of wood grown on Abbotsford, Sir Walter Scott's estate in Scotland. 9. Laura Bridgman's dark eye glasses. South Boston, ca. 1870. 10. Sterling silver napkin ring with LDB monogram, attributed to Laura Bridgman, ca. 1880. Gift of Mrs. Laura Bridgman. Dallas, Texas, 2004. 11. Plaster copy of a bust of Laura Bridgman sculpted by Sophia Peabody. South Boston, 1841
