Description

Handmade pillow is filled with cedar chips. Linen cover has hand painted rose and two buds on stem with green leaves. Gathered at top and secured with yellow and blue ribbon. This then is covered with a cotton net on front only, ruffled around edges, crocheted trim around bottom.Noted on bag it came in (bag now in obect file): "Hand written on tag adhered to plastic bag: Many people could not afford a cedar chest. The cedar bag was an alaternative managed by many." (bag stapled to object record)
