Description
Black and white photograph on pastboard backing with large border. A team of 11 men are part of the fire department hose team pulling the hose cart. Several onlookers are looking on from behind the team and in the windows in the building behind them. The street is dirt and the men are wearing knit shorts and shirts. Written on verso is the information that the photo shows the Louisville Hose Team and that the lead man is Jim Kilker; behind him, front, is Frank Hamilton; and near cart, with moustache, is John Kilker. There is an indication on verso that the photo may have been taken in Boulder or Lafayette. The exact location is unknown at this time.
