Donor calls this "one pair buz-kashi socks." Long (knee length?) hand knit socks. Made with 3 different shades of undyed wool: off-white, medium brown and dark brown. Bands of solid color alternating with bands of complex patterns, including diamonds and S-shapes.
"Buz-kashi" may refer to the traditional game/sport of Buzkashi?
