Title

Miser"s purse

Description

A green and white crochet miser's purse with steel beads and ring. A miser’s purse has a long tubular shape, often with tassels or fringe on the ends. The midsection has a slit in it and two moving rings. When the rings are in the center, coins or other small objects can be dropped into either end. The rings are then slid down to close each end and nothing will fall out. This made it hard to get the coins out in a hurry and so the name “miser.”
