Description

Thick cotton cord, covered with some pigment and spotted with resin. Each cord has three little feather pendants on one end. Each pendant has a mixture of glass and one tubular plastic bead. Dr. Newton says these were obtained from and made by Ingre-o Julia Corredor, a 48 y/o female. Used by her daugther Maria Jesus for ceremony. Meo kre pudulunti; used twices, the last less than a year before. Sold as an incomplete set as the feather cord is not here. One missing piece. Name for this is me?kai. The square cordage (cross section) is made from a single strand (crochet). Cord is 2z cotton, bead cord and tie is 2z tucum/caroa. Pendants are glass beads, rubber/plastic tubular and macaw feathers. Price paid: 2.50 crn.
