Description

This piece consists of braided or crocheted yarn adhered to a circular piece of cardboard. The multi-colored strands of yarn are wrapped around multiple crocheted pieces, layered in the center. On top of the five stacked doilies, eight rolls of felt, two layers of yellow felt and thin rolled blue foam create a flower. Various shades of brown and grey yarn is braided and adhered to outer edge. A short biography of Rita Wallace is tape to back. The artist's signature and date are written on back.Artist's signature, verso: Riwa / 08/1/2020
