Description

A square doily created using the pulled thread technique. An embroidered lace technique, pulled thread lace is created by embroidering under tension, pulling embroidery thread tight to create a lace effect. No threads are drawn out of the fabric. This doily measures 7.75 inches by 7.75 inches, and features a circular lace motif in each corner that looks like suns. There is a simple lace pattern connecting each of the four suns together.
