Description

She has on flower earrings and a front pleated, crocheted lining black dress. She is also wearing a brooch with small flowers and puffy sleeves. Photograph was taken by J. A. Pfeifer & Co. John Pfeifer's partners were, Louise F Smith, Patrick J, and Terrance A Mulligan. John A Pfeifer (1859 – 1932) was active in photography in Columbus (Franklin) from about 1882 to at least 1922. During much of that period, he was the coproprietor, with George C. Urlin, of “Mammoth Art Palace” on High Street. Pfeifer was born in Columbus, December 11, 1859 and died there January 21, 1932.
