Description

Skirt suit of black double knit wool. A) Jacket. Slightly over waist length, with shawl collar and center front opening with four large circular "jeweled" black buttons and one hidden snap. Long sleeves with turned-back cuffs and three buttons on each matching but smaller than cf buttons. Flaps for faux pockets at hips. Self lined? Designer's label at center back neckline: "Oscar de la Renta" with handwritten couture number "2203s" B) Skirt. Knee-length with A-line and added flaring "ruffle" at hem. Left side zipper with hook-and-eye at waistband. Upper portion lined in black silk(?). Designer's label at center back waistband: "Oscar de la Renta" with handwritten notation: "G43(?) 2203S"
