Her family has been in Golden for six generations, five of which have graduated from Golden High School (GHS). She has great views of the G on South Table Mountain, which her husband, Tom, (himself a GHS graduate from the 1970s) helped to paint in the 1970s. Betty's normal day during the quarantine consists of making her garden look great and sometimes sitting out on the front porch to crochet.
