Description
These are the three projects for MHK level 2. The vest had to have a "V" or "U" shaped neckline, be knit in pieces and seamed, and have a picked-up edge. The vest pattern is Cadillac Mountain from Kelbourne Woolens and is knit in Yorkshire Spinners Bo Peep Pure and size 6 and 7 needles.
A pattern was provided for the Fair Isle wristlet. I had to choose appropriate colors after researching and understanding color value, and demonstrating a mastery of Fair Isle technique. The wristlet is knit in Knit Picks Palette and size 3 needles.
For the Argyle sock, I had to find an appropriate pattern, choose colors and learn techniques including kitchener stitch, intarsia, and heel and toe construction. The sock pattern is Top-Down Argyle Socks by Jennifer Donze.
The Argyle sock is knit with Knit Picks Palette and size 2 needles.
