Mirror advertising the Horace Partridge Company. An image on the reverse of the mirror has a football pattern background with a red border. Black text reads " HORACE PARTRIDGE CO. / "Everything for Sport"/ BOSTON- CLEVELAND-CHARLOTTE." Dimensions: 64mm in diameter, 13mm thick.
The Horace Partridge Company was founded in Boston in 1847. The company initially sold "fancy goods" such as toys, games, and musical instruments. Later, it successfully expanded into sporting goods and became a leading wholesaler to professional teams, colleges, and schools. The company purchased and expanded a knitting factory in Charlotte in about 1922. The Horace Partridge Company was bought out by the Wilson Sporting Goods Company in 1931.
